At 72, Janerka remains one of the most original figures in Polish music, creating only when he truly has something to say. After an eighteen-year silence he released the album “Gipsowy odlew falsyfikatu” (“Plaster Cast of a Fake”), which became a major artistic event and won five Fryderyk Awards in 2024. The film unfolds as a journey between waking life and dreams, weaving Janerka’s reflections with rich archival footage portraying seventy years of Polish reality.
