The first documentary about Lech Janerka avoids a classic chronological biography. Its key word is ‘dream’. At 72, Janerka remains one of the most original figures in Polish music, creating only when he truly has something to say. After an eighteen-year silence he released the album “Gipsowy odlew falsyfikatu” (“Plaster Cast of a Fake”), which became a major artistic event and won five Fryderyk Awards in 2024. The film unfolds as a journey between waking life and dreams, weaving Janerka’s reflections with rich archival footage portraying seventy years of Polish reality.
