Jarmila Outratová is an industry professional who began her career as an acquisition and program manager for HBO’s Supermax kids channel. After spending several years with a British distribution company, she founded her own business specializing in the international distribution of documentary films. Since 2013, Jarmila has been the Head of the Industry Office at the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival. In this role, she oversees initiatives such as Emerging Producers and the Ji.hlava New Visions Forum and Market, which support the next generation of European documentary talent. Jarmila frequently serves as a tutor, consultant, jury member, or expert at various international industry events.
