Daniéla Frykstrand is a Swedish documentary filmmaker and producer based in Gothenburg. She runs the production company Gunilla Film, focusing on character-driven documentaries that explores people in transition. As company their work stays close to lived experience shaped through time and an interest in how larger structures are reflected in peoples everyday life. She has produced and co-produced several documentary films, including Gubbstrutsar, Denim Hunter and Håkan - a song for Gothenburg, for both cinema and television, in collaboration with Swedish broadcaster and founders. Her current projects include international co-productions following migrant communities and women entering traditionally male-dominated professions in Ukraine.
