Akvilė Žilionytė is a Lithuanian film producer working in film production since 2014. She holds a Master’s degree in Film from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and works as a producer, screenwriter, and co-writer. She focuses on auteur-driven documentary and short fiction films, collaborating closely with emerging directors. Her films have been screened at international festivals including Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, Hamburg Short Film Festival, Busan Short FF, Dresden Short Film Festival, Drama Short Film Festival, FEST – New Directors etc. She has participated in major international training programs such as EURODOC, EAVE, EsoDoc, Jihlava Academy, Cannes New Producers Room, and IDFA Academy. In 2025, she produced her first feature-length documentary In Passing, a social documentary with strong theatrical results in Lithuania. She is the founder of Artišokai, a Vilnius-based production company.
