Producer, director, and cinematographer. For over 15 years, he has focused on armed conflicts and socio-political transformations around the world. He has made documentaries in Turkish Kurdistan, Iraq, Syria, Venezuela, Armenia, Belarus, Afghanistan, and Ukraine. His directorial debut, Living with the Taliban, received the Grand Prix: Global Education at the HumanDOC IDFF and two awards at the Junction North IDFF in Canada. Graduate of the Dok Pro program at the Wajda School. Founder of Marchello Production and the FreeDoc Foundation.
