After finishing her studies in film theory and history at the Charles University in Prague and at the Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3, Barbora Venclová has worked and gained experience in the festival and film production. Currently she is studying at the Department of Documentary Film at FAMU in Prague. She mainly works on short documentaries and collaborates with multiple Czech NGOs on their video and social media production. Her work centers around topics such as feminism, social power dynamics and work ethics. Currently she is preparing her first feature film about the community of people who live with the post covid syndrome in the Czech Republic called Homebound. At the Millennium Docs she is pitching a short found footage film The Last Crime We Don't Remember, that is in development.
