Mónica Hernández Rejón (1984) is a Mexican film producer and director based in Sweden. She has an academic background with a focus on postcolonial studies. Mónica co-owns and drives Pråmfilm, a Stockholm-based production company which focuses on producing intimate, socially engaged films. Her producing credits include the features Malandro Moon (2026) by Iván Blanco, winner of the Dragon Award for Best Nordic Documentary 2026; Fly So Far (2021) by Celina Escher, winner of 25 international awards; and All We Own (2019) by Emily Norling, which received the Swedish Academy Award for Newcomer of the Year. Mónica has participated in professional training programs including Emerging Producers (2024), Toolbox (2023), IDFAcademy (2020), EURODOC (2019), and Doc Forward (2020, 2022). She is the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Panoramica – Stockholm Latin American Film Festival and Co-Chair of the Independent Filmmakers Association of Sweden.
