Lucie Kon is an award-winning executive producer, commissioner and investigative journalist with over two decades of experience in international documentary. She commissioned and executive produced for the BBC the Oscar and BAFTA-winning Mr Nobody Against Putin and We Will Dance Again, winner of the Rose d’Or and duPont Award. She has also led investigations for Panorama, the BBC’s flagship current affairs strand, including Ebola Frontline (International Emmy nominated). As Commissioning Editor for BBC Storyville, she worked with filmmakers worldwide on internationally recognised documentaries including Navalny and Beyond Utopia. She now works internationally as a documentary strategy and editorial consultant, mentor and consulting producer, advising filmmakers and organisations on editorial development, positioning and financing, and supporting projects from early idea through to pitch, production and release.
