Keren Shayo is an Israeli documentary filmmaker focusing on social and political issues. Her film Sound of Torture (Yes Docu, Netflix, ARTE, PBS, SVT, Al Jazeera) premiered at IDFA in 2013 and won multiple awards, including the Israeli Academy Award and the European Academy Award. Her series After Midnight: The Best Kept Secret in Town (2021) and A Guide to Gentrification (2021) were both nominated for the Israeli Academy Awards, with the latter winning Best Series at the Israeli Documentary Forum.
