In an Armenian village in southern Georgia, three friends stand on the threshold of adulthood. In a world dominated by tradition, they try to imagine a different future.

In the Armenian village of Gandzani, located in the highlands of southern Georgia, three young friends stand on the threshold of adulthood. Henrikh, Karlen, and Hagop grow up in a place where tradition sets the rhythm of daily life and life paths seem predetermined. Yet each of them tries to imagine a different future. Henrikh leaves for Tbilisi, where new political ideas awaken in him a sense of agency and a desire for self-determination. Karlen, burdened with responsibility for his family, considers labor migration as a path to independence, while remaining tied to the land and the pastoral traditions of his ancestors. Hagop, the most deeply rooted in village life, struggles with unspoken rules and patriarchal expectations, longing for closeness that seems unattainable. By capturing intimate conversations, everyday rituals, and spiritual motifs, the film creates a moving portrait of friendship and quiet inner rebellion. It speaks of the fragility of identity, coming of age in the shadow of history, and the courage required to dream beyond the limits of the world that shaped us.
